Our Story

From a simple idea in 2018 to Australia's trusted digital budgeting companion — here's how we built venoriluthiq to help thousands take control of their financial future

2018

The Beginning

Three friends from Melbourne University noticed something troubling during their final year. Despite studying commerce and economics, most of their classmates struggled with basic budgeting. Credit card debt was mounting, and many felt overwhelmed by financial apps that promised everything but delivered complexity.

  • Founded with ,000 in combined savings
  • First prototype built in a Fitzroy garage
  • Interviewed 200+ young professionals about money habits
  • Discovered that 73% wanted simpler budgeting tools

Finding Our Voice

After testing with over 1,000 beta users across Australia, we learned that budgeting isn't just about numbers — it's about understanding your relationship with money. We redesigned venoriluthiq from the ground up, focusing on clarity and genuine financial education rather than flashy features.

  • Launched public beta with 2,500 active users
  • Partnered with financial counsellors in Sydney and Brisbane
  • Developed our signature "Small Steps" methodology
  • Won the FinTech Australia Innovation Award

Growing Together

Last year marked a turning point. We reached 25,000 active users and, more importantly, started seeing real results. Our community shared stories of paying off debt, building emergency funds, and feeling confident about money for the first time. This wasn't just growth — it was proof that our approach works.

  • Expanded team to 12 passionate individuals
  • Users collectively saved over .2 million
  • Launched educational webinar series
  • Opened our Perth office to serve Western Australia better
